joe1Joe Clements and his wife, Gail, met at Alabama Christian High School in Montgomery and have been married since 1969.  They have three wonderful daughters and four exceptional granddaughters.

After graduating from Harding University and the University of Arkansas Medical School, Joe spent 10 years in the Navy where he completed his training in Urology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C.  In 1983 the Clements moved to Dothan so that Joe could continue his career with Urological Associates.

Joe loves singing.   He began as a young boy singing in quartets and has led singing all his life.  This made Joe a natural fit as the shepherd to oversee the worship ministry at Westgate.  Joe's taste in music runs from the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac to opera and the great tenor, Luciano Pavorotti.

Joe's favorite pastimes are golf, having fun with grandchildren, fly fishing with Gail, and gourmet cooking.  He has taught Bible classes all of his adult life and especially likes the Old Testament prophets and the Divided Kingdom period.

Two of Joe's favorite scriptures are Philippians 2:5-8 and 1 John 3:23.  His prayer for Westgate is that we all develop a servant's heart and to be filled with His spirit so that we might use our gifts for others.
